And there&#8217;s always a big &#8220;eeew&#8221; when I explain.<\/p>\n<p>Studies have shown the dirtiest thing in a hotel room is the TV remote control, and it&#8217;s very unlikely it&#8217;s ever cleaned. Think about it &#8211; people lying in bed, turning on the TV. Don&#8217;t think about it too long &#8211; it will gross you out.<\/p>\n<p>The cellophane sleeves are for inserting the remote to protect you from those nasty germs.<\/p>\n<p>I used to wrap the remote in a shower cap but they&#8217;re not always provided so I just used a piece of tissue. This seemed like a desperate solution. I love these covers.
